Attention minions! Breaking News!!!

Stella and Siobhan spent innumerable hours bribing – er, bidding on tickets to Misha’s Meet & Greet at Nashcon – and they won! That’s right, Stella and Siobhan will be meeting Misha “the Overlord” Collins this June in Nashville (be sure to mark your calendars for this momentous occasion – it’s sure to become a National SugarWings Holiday).

When asked for a comment on how winning a ticket in the auction felt, Siobhan was reported to have said, “awel;anoiadfoghalknrofaiwneovlgjalfgMishaaa;lawkng;oian;obfna;fomgwtfbbq.”

Stella was also available for comment and says she feels like she’s “preparing for the most intimidating first date ever.”

While Siobhan is flailing her little heart out, Stella will pretend she doesn’t know her be taking copious (mental) notes so they can later write a thorough review of not only meeting Misha, but what you as a fan might be able to expect at a Creation Meet & Greet.

There are three weeks left (*flail*) until the day Kate, Rae, Stella and Siobhan leave D.C. and head out on the open road for Nashville, Carry On Wayward Son blaring from the speakers.

We’ve still got lots to do before everything will be completely ready (if being “completely ready” for this kind of thing is even possible), but rest assured, we’ll be keeping all of you in the loop. As more plans become final we’ll be including info on ways we found it easier to get this all organized so that hopefully you can see just how amazing (and achievable) it is to have your own Epic SPN Roadtrip!

Countdown to Epicness

Sexy ’67 Impala driven by two indescribably attractive brothers.

67 days ’til our epic adventure begins.

Coincidence?

I think not.

It’s now 67 days until Sugarwings finally gets together and begins our road trip to the Salute to Supernatural Convention in Nashville, TN! Calm yourselves, fangirls, there is much flailing to be had in June – save your strength.

The four of us will be driving approximately 650 miles – 11 hours – to bask in the glory that is Supernatural. Not only will we be attending this gathering, but, along the way, we’ll be channeling our inner Winchester: staying in cheap motels, eating greasy diner food, driving a Chevy Impala, and maybe even salting and burning a few monsters – just for kicks.

Leading up to the convention, we’ll be updating the blog with our plans for the trip, and perhaps just a sprinkling of random fangirl flailing here and there. Once the trip begins we’ll be documenting the entire experience – the traveling, the motels, the food, the screaming horde of fans (the monsters), the panels, the photo/autograph ops, the laughs, the tears, and everything in between.

We’ll have live feeds via our Twitter account (@SugarWingsblog) during all the panels we’re able to attend, and frequent squee-ing during the numerous events hosted by Creation Entertainment (like the infamous Karaoke night), with the hash tag #NashCon. We’ll post photos and the like as frequently as we can during the actual convention, and will be sure to post everything (everything deemed appropriate for fangirl viewing) once we say our farewells upon our return to northern VA (aka NoVA) and go our separate ways for the time being.

After this epic road trip has come to its eventual conclusion, we’ll continue posting to the blog; it will be more of a (fantastic) fansite until the time comes for us to plan our next adventure (which will be, no doubt, as soon as humanly possible).

We’ll tweet every time we’ve posted something new, or you can subscribe to the blog if you get tired of us blowing up your Twitter feed with random awesomeness (pfft, right – you love us).

So, until next time, fellow fangirls and -boys…

Happy Hunting ;)

Welcome!

What’s Sugarwings?

Well, it’s Gabriel’s strip club in Vegas.

It’s the domain name Misha’s setting up for the Church of Gabriel.

And it’s four crazy fangirls from all across the country who decided to take a little road trip.

So… who’s doing our artwork?
